If you’re considering DIY florals for your wedding, holiday tablescape, home decor, or other reason, you’ve probably considered artificial florals and greenery. High-quality faux florals can be very expensive and difficult to source. Many wholesale suppliers require you to be a business with a license and reseller certificate in order to purchase from them. If you’re experiencing this issue and you don’t qualify to buy from these suppliers, you may be considering purchasing faux florals from Amazon.

Amazon is a great resource for affordable products, free shipping, and easy returns. Unfortunately, it’s also a marketplace with products that don’t always match the listing photos. Because of this, it can be scary to place a large order when you’re not sure what you’re going to receive.

We’re a faux floral design company who’s been building our inventory since 2020. We’ve purchased thousands of blooms over the years and know what to look for when sourcing quality artificial florals at a fair price. We’re always looking for great deals and finds when it comes to faux florals and florist supplies. Over the years, we’ve spent thousands of dollars buying samples and testing faux floral products from many different suppliers and retailers. However, for someone who’s sourcing for their wedding, a DIY project, or just starting their business, the costs associated with the trial and error required to find good quality artificial florals and greenery can add up.

To help you avoid costly mistakes, we purchased some of the popular faux floral products on Amazon to review their quality. In order to make our list of recommended products, items had to meet the following criteria:

  • Actual product that arrived matched the listing pictures.

  • Actual product that arrived matched the size that was advertised in the listing’s description and photos.

  • Bloom heads and leaves were a realistic size and shape for the type of flower.

  • Product was packaged well and protected from avoidable damage.

  • If product was wrinkled or folded from shipping, it could be easily fixed with something like a steamer.

  • Product was made from materials that were realistic looking from afar and up close.

  • Product colors matched the description and listing photos.

  • Product did not easily shed, rip, or break.

  • Product was well-made and constructed, such as no excessive visible glue.

  • Product was a reasonable price for the amount of blooms or stems it yielded.
